A tragic incident occurred, resulting in the unfortunate demise of a young man involved in a dispute with another individual from a neighboring county. According to court documents obtained by Daily Voice, a confrontation led to the fatal shooting of Aiden Kimmet, a 25-year-old resident of New Providence, by Bryan Charles Hollister, 24, from Windsor. The incident took place at a residence on Main Street, near Truce Road, in New Providence.

Aiden Kimmet succumbed to injuries sustained from multiple gunshots, as reported by the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP). Troopers responded to a reported shooting and potential homicide at the mentioned location. The investigation revealed that the two men had been engaged in a physical altercation inside the home, possibly related to a past romantic connection with a woman.

Kimmet, having arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s home with intentions to reconcile, encountered Hollister, who was also present. The altercation escalated, leading to a struggle during which Hollister retrieved a pistol. The tragic incident unfolded, resulting in Kimmet’s untimely demise.

The court documents indicate that the confrontation occurred after Kimmet ignored warnings not to enter specific areas of the house. The altercation escalated quickly, leading to the use of a firearm by Hollister. The ex-girlfriend witnessed the tragic event, noting that Hollister fired multiple shots.

Hollister was subsequently arrested and charged with first-degree homicide, recklessly endangering another person, and possession of a weapon. Magisterial District Judge Stuart J. Mylin denied bail during Hollister’s preliminary arraignment, and he is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on December 5.

Aiden Kimmet, remembered for his love of activities such as riding his Harley Davidson and bull riding at the rodeo, was also described as a devout Christian. His passing has deeply impacted the community, with friends expressing their grief on social media.
