Angus Cloud Obituary – Death: ‘Euphoria’ Actor Cause Of Death Revealed As Accidental Drug Overdose
Angus Cloud, the actor known for his role as Fezco in the HBO series “Euphoria,” tragically passed away on July 31. According to the Alameda County Coroner’s office, his cause of death was “acute intoxication” resulting from a lethal combination of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and benzodiazepines. It has been determined that the overdose was accidental.
At the time of his passing, Angus Cloud’s family revealed that he had been struggling with profound grief following the recent loss of his father. The family issued a statement saying, “Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”
Angus Cloud rose to fame with his role in “Euphoria” in 2019, where he played the character Fezco. He was discovered for the show by casting director Jennifer Venditti while he was working at a restaurant in Brooklyn. In addition to “Euphoria,” he appeared in various projects, including “North Hollywood” and “The Line,” as well as several music videos.
His upcoming projects included the drama “The Line,” a horror-thriller titled “Freaky Tales,” a role alongside Ben Mendelsohn, Pedro Pascal, and Jay Ellis, and roles in the horror thriller “Your Lucky Day” and an untitled monster movie from Radio Silence, produced by Universal Pictures.
