In College Station, Texas, unfortunately, a tragic incident took place at Texas A&M University, where Britney Romero, a student of Hispanic origin, lost her life after falling from the third-floor balcony of Dunn Hall on Saturday morning.
University representatives have identified the victim as Britney Romero, a freshman in the health field.
BG Joe E. Ramirez, the Texas A&M Representative for Student Affairs, said: “We intend to conduct a thorough and complete review of what occurred. We know this is difficult news to share with our student community.” Additionally, Ramirez added, “Our hearts ache for Britney’s family and friends. They have our deepest condolences and support as they navigate this devastating loss.”
Authorities have ordered an autopsy to shed light on the circumstances of this tragic loss. Texas A&M University reminds all students that support services and counselors are available to provide emotional support during difficult times.
