Chase Sharp Accident – Obituary: Chase Sharp, Bay Minette died after tractor trailer accident on I-65
Chase Sharp, a resident of Bay Minette, tragically lost his life in a devastating accident on Monday morning, September 18, 2023. The accident occurred on Interstate 65 when Chase Sharp’s SUV collided with the trailer of a tractor-trailer.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that the collision happened at around six in the morning. Unfortunately, Chase Sharp did not survive the crash and was pronounced dead at the accident scene. It was determined that his injuries from the tractor-trailer accident were the cause of his untimely death.
ALEA’s investigation revealed that Chase Sharp was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. Additionally, it was found that the tractor-trailer had broken down shortly before the accident, partially obstructing the road. While the ALEA Highway Patrol Division is actively investigating the incident, no new details are available at this time. Thankfully, no one else was injured in this tragic accident.
