Christopher Battaglia Kellenberg Memorial High School Obituary – Death: Chris Battaglia Floral Park NY has Passed Away

Christopher Battaglia, a 17-year-old senior at Kellenberg Memorial High School, sadly passed away. The school, located in Floral Park, New York, confirmed his death over the weekend. The cause of his death has not been officially announced.

Born in 2006, Christopher actively engaged in the school community, participating in both the football and lacrosse programs. Additionally, he served as a Marianist Leader for eighth grade.

Kellenberg Memorial High School issued the following statement:

“Please pray for the repose of the soul of senior Christopher Battaglia. Christopher was an active member of our school community, contributing to our football and lacrosse programs and serving as a Marianist Leader for eighth grade.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.”

Kellenberg Memorial High School, dedicated to Most Rev. Walter P. Kellenberg, honors the founding Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, known for his devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and support for Catholic education.

Founded in 1987, the school, under the ownership and direction of the Society of Mary, focuses on Christianizing society through education. The Bro. Joseph C. Fox Latin School, established in 1987, offers a Catholic education to students in grades six through eight.
