CHEMITOOL eMotorsport, a simracing organization, released a statement expressing their shock and sadness at the news of Dan Kirby’s passing. They described him as a British racer and a fellow simracer colleague they had the pleasure of racing against.

Dan Kirby was an active participant in the TCR-UK Touring Car Championship, based on his career as a British racing driver. He began his journey in touring car racing in 2020 as a member of Power Maxed Racing. In the 2021 season, he came close to securing the championship title with Power Maxed Racing, finishing third in a dramatic final race weekend at Donington Park, where five drivers competed for the title. Before focusing on his racing career, Dan founded and served as the team principal of Trade Price Cars Racing, a team that competed in the 2019 and 2020 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship seasons.

The family is expected to release an obituary and details regarding the funeral arrangements for Dan Kirby, who was a prominent figure in the world of racing. Chelmsford, where he hailed from, is a city located northeast of London, known for its historical landmarks like Hylands House and Chelmsford Cathedral.
