So, off I ventured to university, immersing myself in the world of Fine Arts. However, reality hit hard, and it became clear that I wasn’t on the right path. The first semester was a tough pill to swallow, leading to the bold decision to drop out.

Lost and grappling with depression, I found solace in the realm of makeup. It became more than just a creative outlet; it became my daily therapy, lifting my spirits in ways I hadn’t anticipated. During this tumultuous time, my mom, my guiding light, nudged me toward turning my passion into a profession. That’s when I packed my bags and headed to Vancouver to enroll at Blanche Macdonald, renowned as the #1 makeup school in Canada.

Over the transformative year in Vancouver, everything fell into place. The makeup brushes felt like an extension of my soul, and the artistry began to flow effortlessly. As I refined my skills, my social platforms blossomed, and so did my confidence. Fast forward three years, and I still wake up every morning with infectious excitement for the day ahead. There are moments when I have to pinch myself to believe that I get to do what I love.

The beauty industry has not only been my playground but also my classroom, teaching me resilience, creativity, and the power of self-expression.
