Sam, Dinicol’s son, sent a message on Facebook confirming the terrible news of dad passing. He had written an extensive obituary for his late father.
Sam wrote: ‘On Thursday, a stroke took my Dad from us. Suddenly, he’s gone. While words cannot describe the shock and grief we are feeling right now, I can summon a few to tell you about the good man Keith Dinicol was.’
Dinicol was a proud father and a husband. He was married to his wife, Emma Dinicol, in 1996.
One of the three kids that Keith and his wife Emma nurtured in Stratford throughout 29 seasons with the Festival, Sam Dinicol, announced on Facebook that Keith passed away unexpectedly from a stroke late last week.
His other son Joe Dinicol has followed in his footsteps. Joe is known for playing Rory Regan, aka Ragman, in a recurring role in the fifth season of Arrow. His other notable parts are Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Diary of the Dead, and The Virgin Suicides.
