Engaging in the impactful work we carry out here in Montana has always been a cherished aspiration for my wife and me. We had envisioned raising our family in the serene town of Bozeman, MT. My journey has been shaped by the experiences of my past. I take pride in my role as the Captain of the Northwestern football team and in my achievement as a Super Bowl XLI Champion with the 2006 Indianapolis Colts. These experiences have instilled in me the virtues of teamwork, resilience, and effective leadership. At present, I am involved as a player advisor for the Harvard Football Players Health study, allowing me to contribute to valuable research in my field of passion. To augment my business expertise, I have earned executive education certifications from Stanford in Strategic Marketing Management and from Harvard Business School in Leading Professional Services Firms.

The greatest source of joy in my life stems from keeping up with the energetic activities of my four pre-teen sons. They consistently keep me on my toes and serve as endless wells of inspiration. In addition, I dedicate my time to coaching and training young athletes in our community, guiding them toward reaching their full potential. This has become one of my genuine passions. You can frequently find me at the gym, where I recently accomplished a significant milestone by bench-pressing 505 pounds at the age of 40. The pursuit of setting and achieving goals has become a lifelong endeavor for me!

In fond memory of my late grandfather, I vividly recall a defining moment when he promised me a two-dollar Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book if I could conquer the monkey bars 30 times. Despite enduring bloodied and blistered hands, I persevered and completed the final three repetitions with sheer determination and resolve. This transformative experience underscored the significance of setting goals, embracing tenacity, and maintaining unwavering determination—attributes that continue to drive me forward in life.

Among the books that have left a profound impact on me, “The Talent Code” by Daniel Coyle holds a special place. Coyle’s insightful work delves into the fusion of art and science in attaining excellence, both in sports and business. Through his exploration of the secrets behind the success of exceptional individuals in their respective fields, Coyle provides captivating insights and inspiration that have significantly contributed to my journey toward success.
