Peter Spellos Obituary – Death: ‘American Dream’ And ‘Transformers’ Actor Has Passed Away At 69, Cause Of Death

Peter Spellos, renowned for his roles on the TV series American Dreams and as the voice behind the character Sky-Byte in the animated ‘Transformers’ series, passed away on Sunday due to complications related to pancreatic cancer. He spent his final moments at Francisca Hospice House in Indianapolis, Indiana, surrounded by loved ones.

Jennifer Smith, a close friend and acting student of Peter’s, shared the heartbreaking news of his demise. Fred Olen, another friend, expressed the sorrow of losing such a dear companion on Facebook. Olen highlighted Peter’s remarkable qualities as a gentle giant, a talented actor, teacher, and a source of laughter. The two had collaborated on numerous movies, creating a bond that will be cherished forever.

In addition to his iconic role as Sky-Byte in the Transformers: Robots in Disguise series, Spellos showcased his acting prowess in Men in Black II as Motorman and on NBC’s American Dreams as Gus.

Peter Spellos is survived by his brother, James Spellos. The family is currently organizing an online memorial to honor his memory, although specific details are yet to be provided. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and admired him, and his contributions to the world of entertainment will be remembered with gratitude and fondness.
