Selma Archerd Obituary – Death: Actress And Wife Of Longtime Variety Columnist Army Archerd Passed Away At 98

Selma Archerd, a prominent presence at Hollywood events for many years, passed away at the age of 98, as reported by multiple sources on December 14 in Los Angeles.

Throughout her 27-year career in television and film, Archerd primarily played supporting roles, accumulating an extensive list of appearances. Notable instances include her portrayal as a hostage in the 1988 film “Die Hard” and her recurring role as Nurse Amy in Fox’s 1990s soap opera “Melrose Place.”

Her credits extend to various movies and TV shows, such as “The Brady Bunch,” “Serpico,” “Lethal Weapon,” “Lethal Weapon 3,” “Fun with Dick and Jane,” “Can’t Stop the Music,” “Mommie Dearest,” and “Scrooged,” among others.

Survived by two sons, James Rosenblum and Richard Rosenblum, and a grandson, Ryan Rosenblum, Selma Archerd’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Culver City, California-based Exceptional Children’s Foundation.
