What Happened To Christian Bono? Car Accident Florida and Bono Brothers Death
Christian Bono died along with his brother Matthew and friend Nehemiah Turban on August 1, 2020.
Their funeral ceremony happened on August 15, 2022. The news of their untimely demise shocked everyone in Florida after their respective family members announced it.
Many quickly responded to the sad news about the death of three teenagers.
Steve King WPBF was the first to report the news. He tweeted: ‘The St. Lucie County community remembers brothers Christian and Matthew Bono and their best friend, Nehemiah Turban. The three teenagers were killed in a car crash earlier this month. It’s a true tragedy that these boys left us so soon.’
To memorialize Christian, 16, Matthew, 15, and Turban, 16, and to say their final goodbyes, hundreds of their colleagues and family gathered on the baseball diamond at Southwest Little League Baseball Field in Whispering Pines Park.
Bono’s sister, Emmalee Bono, said: ‘I never expected to lose anyone in my family, let alone two people in just a short amount of time.’
‘We are also grieving Nehemiah. He was like a third brother to me and like a third son to both of my parents.’
Similarly, Stephanie Trumble, a family friend of one of the boys, said: “Devastated, shattered, I feel like none of these boys will ever step foot on a baseball field the same, none of these parents will ever watch a game the same. This whole community’s world is forever changed,”
