What Illness Does Ken Oberkfell Have? Baseball Star Wife Tina Oberkfell & Health Update

Ken Oberkfell is supposedly ill as several Twitter users reacted to his health conditions via several Tweets. He is an American former third baseman who played in MLB from 1977 to 1992 for six different teams.

He is recently making headlines because of his health conditions. The veteran MLB player celebrated the 40th title anniversary with his former team STL Cardinals, on August 8.

According to Twitter users, Ken is suffering from a disease that is yet to be disclosed by Ken or his family. However, his fans were concerned and had posted several tweets mentioning his health condition. One of the Twitter users said that he knew about Ken’s health condition but had no idea how worse his situation was.

Similarly, another fan of his post that he wanted to know more about the former MLB player’s health condition, and he was so sad to witness his disability. Ken was one of the favorite players of his team and always entertained his fans with his unique and exciting playing style.

Ken Oberkfell’s Wife Tina Oberkfell

There is always a debate regarding Ken’s wife, as the internet has different views on who his wife is. Several news and information websites claim he is married to a lady named Tina Oberkfell. Still, his Wikipedia page mentions that he is a husband to a lady named Jamie Oberkfell and the couple currently reside in Illinois.

Oberkfell played second base most of his career but also started over 400 games at third base. Oberkfell was a baseball coach after he stopped playing.

He has worked mainly as a coach in the minor levels but also as the first base coach for the New York Mets in 2008 and the bench coach for the Mets in 2011.

Ken Oberkfell Children And Family

Ken is a father of six children and has eight members in his family, including himself. His children, Brittany Oberkfell, Joe Oberkfell, Jessica Oberkfell, Cary Oberkfell, Beth Oberkfell, and Tami Oberkfell, are well-established personalities in their respective fields.

Ken loves his children; the kids also love and support their father in every stage of his old age. Oberkfell was signed as an amateur free agent by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1975.

He made his Major League Baseball debut with the team on August 22, 1977. Oberkfell hit.292 in the 1982 World Series while playing for the St. Louis Cardinals, who won the championship.

Ken Oberkfell Health Update: Is He Still Sick?

Ken is supposedly sick as his fans were seen worried about his health condition and asked for his health update on Twitter. However, there hasn’t been any official news or statement from him or his family regarding his illness.

He recently appeared in the media to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the ST. Louis Cardinals title, which they won with the help of Ken in 1982. Oberkfell had a.278 batting average throughout a 16-year major league career, including 1602 games, 558 runs, 237 doubles, 29 home runs, 446 RBI, 44 triples, and 546 base-on-balls.

His career-ending fielding percentage was .973, which is impressive. He retired in 1992 as a player and is still regarded as one of the club legends by his former team STL Cardinals.
