The person killed early on Saturday in a crash east of Bison has been identified as Nathan Bootz, a 31-year-old Lemmon resident.

A one-vehicle collision 30 miles east of Bison on Saturday morning (July 23, 2022) claimed the life of 31-year-old Nathan Bootz from Lemmon.

As is well known, numerous young people and senior citizens have lost their lives in road accidents on a daily basis. Everyone who knew him was shocked to learn of his passing, including his family and friends. His family will never stop missing him.

According to the investigation, he wasn’t driving in accordance with the norms and regulations, which led to his demise.

The news of Nathan Bootz’s passing has just traveled over the internet. He was a resident of Lemmon, South Dakota.

He was the victim who recently died in an automobile accident. Bootz’s failed to navigate a left curve on South Dakota Highway 20, which led to the collision.

The driver, who was not using a seatbelt, was ejected from the car as it overturned. At the scene, he was identified as deceased.

Nathan Bootz was operating a 2001 Chevrolet C3500 service truck westbound on South Dakota Highway 20 when he failed to negotiate a left curve, according to preliminary crash information from the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

The car overcorrected, flipping over in the process. According to the source, Nathan believed in community and served in the Lemmon Volunteer Fire Department with his father and many others.

On July 28, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic in Lemmon, South Dakota, a Mass of Christian Burial for Nathan Bootz, age 31, will be celebrated.

For family, first responders, classmates, city employees, and council members, the church’s sanctuary will be set aside.

The Beeler Community Center, where the ceremony will be livestreamed, is the suggested gathering place for the public. St. Mary’s Church will lead a procession to Lemmon’s Main Street, where people gathering at the Beeler Center will join in for the journey to the cemetery.

On the day of the service, more instructions will be provided. With burial to follow in the Greenhill Cemetery at Lemmon, Fr. Adam Hofer and Deacon Mike Mellmer will preside over the service.

Patrick and Connie Bootz’s family was complete when Nathan Bootz, also known as “Bootzee,” was born on May 2, 1991 in Hettinger, North Dakota. Nathan joined his elder sisters Melissa and Wayne.

On July 23, 2022, early in the morning, this devoted servant was killed in a car accident while traveling back to his home from a maintenance work.
