Being the wife of Vin Scully, Sandra Hunt is highly recognized. Vincent Edward Scully, better known by his stage name Vin Scully, is a retired American sportscaster.
Sandra, Vin’s second wife, and he were wed for 48 years before her demise on January 3, 2021, due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). She had spent the last few years battling ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s illness. Loss of muscular control is a symptom of degenerative nervous system illness, which destroys nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
Sandra Hunt, born in Cascade, Virginia, on December 27, 1944, wed Vin in November 1973. She regularly went to Dodger Stadium to see her husband broadcast games. With his retirement in 2016, Scully’s 67-year tenure with the Dodgers ended.

Joan Crawford, Scully’s 35-year-old wife, departed her soul from an unintentional medical overdose. Adding more misery to his life, his oldest son, Michael, who was 33 years old and employed by the ARCO Transportation Company, perished in a helicopter crash in 1994.
